Advanced Workshop Option #1: IDDSI Implementation: Essential Tools and Resources
Audience: IDDSI Team Leads (maximum 50 registrants)
Learning Objectives:
- Identify key tasks of the IDDSI implementation process.
- Identify tools and resources that are essential for a successful IDDSI implementation.
- Recognize opportunities to build efficiencies into the process.
- Create networks with other IDDSI Team Leads.
Advanced Workshop Option #2: A Culinary Exploration of IDDSI in Healthcare Food Services
Audience: Culinary/Food Service Team Members (maximum 25 registrants)
Learning Objectives:
- Understand culinary descriptors for each IDDSI level.
- Experience hands on, lab-based learning of IDDSI-friendly culinary techniques.
- Troubleshooting during the meal delivery and service process
- Create networks with other Culinarians.
Advanced Workshop Option #3: Integrating IDDSI Into Clinical Practice
Audience: Clinicians (e.g., OT, RD, SLP) (maximum 50 registrants)
Learning Objectives:
- Conceptualize how IDDSI impacts clinical assessment and dysphagia management.
- Learn how to balance quality of life and safety within the context of IDDSI.
- Understand how nomenclature and diet definitions support care transitions.
- Identify IDDSI-friendly changes that can be immediately implemented into clinical practice.
- Create networks with other Clinicians.
